River

River is a natural watercourse, usually fresh water. It flow toward to the ocean, a lake, or a sea. River has been used as a water source, for obtaining food, transport, etc. River is divide into 3 parts. Upstream flow to watercourse, then a watercourse will find another one and make a main river, when a main river meet the sea it also know as embochure.

There are so many river in the world. But, did you know about Amazon river? Yes, it is the second longest in the world by far. Amazon river is also the largest drainage basin in the world, the amount of freshwater that released into the Atlantic Ocean is enourmous : 184.000 m2. The width of the Amazon is around 1.6 km to 10 kilometer at low stage, but it can expands during wet season  to 48 kilometers.
